Reviews and Ratings
Staying here was a mixed bag. While the access to the lake and variety of activities for families were definite highlights, the accommodations were quite subpar, especially on the side of the street we ended up on. The overall experience didn't meet the expectations set by their marketing, and we found ourselves longing for something better elsewhere.
The resort had some fantastic amenities like free use of paddle boats and a nice heated pool, which I really enjoyed. However, my room was on the other side of the street and not as updated or clean as I was hoping. The Wi-Fi was terrible and the overall feel of the rooms was quite damp and old. Despite these issues, the price for the stay was a great deal, especially with the attractions discount vouchers.
While the resort offers some beautiful views and a great family atmosphere, my experience was marred by significant issues, especially regarding the room and amenities. Staying across the street resulted in a major drop in quality, making it hard to enjoy the full offerings of the resort. It's a decent place if you stay on the right side, but be wary about booking the wrong side for the same price.
Our stay was marked by a clean house and a nice pool area, but there were significant downsides. Parking was a hassle with no designated spots, and many amenities were outdated or malfunctioning. Wi-Fi was terrible, and the air conditioning left much to be desired. Overall, while I appreciated the cleanliness, I can't say this is a place I would choose to return to.
My stay was mixed; the lake side accommodations provide better views and nicer amenities, while the adjacent property we ended up in felt outdated and spooky. While there were great free activities available like paddle boating and a heated pool, my disappointment stemmed from the old rooms and lack of adequate lighting, especially at night. It’s definitely worth checking which side you’re booking before committing.
